Serafina Beach Hotel is the first ever hotel concept from the owners behind the successful culinary brand, Serafina Restaurant Group. Serafina Beach Hotel’s signature restaurant, aMare, gives a new meaning to Mediterranean & seafood dining in San Juan.
The hottest restaurant to hit the Condado district, aMare’s repertoire includes the local flavors as Italy and other Latin-European countries fuse with Puerto Rico in culinary romance. Watch the sunset over the Atlantic horizon while enjoying a fresh “Branzino Al Sale”and many other creative dishes.
Chef Luis Guzmán
Luis Guzmán brings over 25 years of culinary experience to his new position as head chef for Serafina Beach Hotel.
Chef Guzmán utilizes his extensive fine dining background & Puerto Rican roots to create dishes that showcase local ingredients and indigenous flavors, fused with Serafina’s Italian roots. As part of the opening team, Chef Guzmán initially served as our Sous Chef. As Head Chef, he is spearheading the culinary teams at our three exquisite dining options: aMare, PiñaCo, and By the Pool.
