Bazille is located on level 2 at Nordstrom, with the terrace overlooking Laguna San Jose, and across Isla Verde via the Teodoro Moscoso bridge. Enjoy fresh salads, specialty entrées, such as the grilled skirt steak churrasco with chimichurri, hand crafted signature cocktails, a carefully curated wine list and delicious housemade desserts.

Chef Allen Lee

Chef Allen started working in the restaurant industry since he was 8 years old, at his dad’s restaurant; washing dishes… doing the dirty work.  At 18 years old he moved on to work at El Conquistador Resort as a cook, where he labored for 8 years. At the Conquistador he had the opportunity to work in all the restaurants and learn from great chefs. While working at the hotel, on his days off, he would work at his dad’s restaurant making sushi and working the line.

Additionally, he had a second job at a bakery where he learned how to make pastries and bread. A couple years later he left the hotel and decided to stay full time at his dad’s restaurant and help him out. Two more years passed and he got offered a job at Meat Market Steak House as a Sous Chef and was later promoted to Executive Chef. Later on, he decided to keep looking for greener pastures and that’s where he is now, Executive Chef at Bazille, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
