The awesome Mist Rooftop experience features alluring white pillow sofas and couches for relaxation, an open air, newly custom-designed Cîroc bar serving a unique selection of well-crafted cocktails and affordable wines, and an open-space restaurant featuring a mouthwatering lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch menu created by Executive Chef Raúl Correa focusing on locally sourced food.
Mist Rooftop Bar+Kitchen’s menu include culinary delights such as the signature pizza verde with Boursin cheese, kale, Brussels sprouts, asparagus and mushrooms and the delicious risotto sprouts served with pork, butifarra and pecorino cheese. The Sunday Brunch is served with a sweeping ocean view and include delicious options such as the spaghetti carbonara with longaniza del país and parmigiano-reggiano, topped with a poached egg, and the “benedicto” – poached eggs served over a white rice croquette, with lechón, chicharrón and hollandaise sauce.
For a seductive evening under the stars, Mist Rooftop offers daily happy hour specials, enjoyable dining options and live DJs spinning Sensual House & Lounge Music from Thursday to Saturday, starting at 9 PM.
Chef Raúl Correa
Raúl Correa Soto has been in the kitchen for over 18 years. He began his culinary journey as Kitchen Supervisor at the Marriott Hotel and Casino, working his way up quickly through the ranks to Executive Chef at some of the finest hotels in Puerto Rico, including the legendary Normandie Hotel, thanks to his strong leadership skills and excellent ability to work as part of a team.
His knowledge of local and international cuisine as well as every aspect of kitchen operation and restaurant management made him a top consultant at Boutique Cuisine Catering and Kitchen Management from 2009-2011. This year he also became Chef-Instructor at Puerto Rico’s renowned Escuela Hotelera, until taking over at The Water Beach Hotel’s culinary operations as Executive Chef. Mr. Correa was also the 2008 Cattlemen’s Chef Challenge Champion, and is a collaborator for El Nuevo Día’s “Por Dentro” Food Section and Primera Hora.
Correa has adopted the most innovative cooking techniques, which led him to be nominated among the top 100 innovative chefs in the U.S. for the “The People’s Best New Chef 2013” of the prestigious FOOD & WINE® magazine.
