Nonna

Nonna provides a unique ambience blooming with history where you can savor classic Italian dishes abundant with fresh vegetables, assorted cheeses, extra virgin olive oil and “live” homemade pasta.

The highest quality ingredients and craftsmanship are elements that label Nonna´s style resulting in traditional Italian dishes that go beyond Pizzas and Pastas. We honor Old Italian cuisine by respecting its ingredients, recipes and methods while integrating cutting-edge techniques.

The menu includes a selection of dishes ranging from antipasti, soups and pastas with a variety of meats and seafood. The pizzas are made with carefully selected ingredients including Caputo flour from Naples, Italy, extra virgin olive oil unfiltered and fresh mozzarella.

  1. Adriana:

Gracias!

Very cozy and elegant at the same time. Great service by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Plus authentic Italian flavors and a good wine list. We’ll be back. No doubt.

The food was very good. We had one of everything on the restaurant week menu. The only down point was the dessert, the panna cotta wasn’t very flavorful. Other than that everything was well made and very delicious.

The worst experience of all PR Restaurant Week and one of my worst experiences ever. We made a reservation for a Wednesday night at 9 pm and arrived early. During the first hour of our dinner (we spent 2:15 hours in total, and not by choice), we were only served 1 bread per person and our appetizer. Then each plate took around 30 minutes to be served. Finally, after the restaurant was completely empty and they were cleaning up the kitchen, we were finally served the dessert. The waiter was somewhat attentive as to keep our wine glasses full (with the wine we brought), but that was it. Not 1 time did he give us an update as to the status of our food or asked us if we liked it. The sad part is that the food was normal, nothing extraordinary, including the desserts, which I usually love. And this is not the first time that we had a bad experience here, but this will definitively will be the last.
