Our Mission is to offer our customers with the best quality local and international products and create a multi-sensory experience through our dishes and crafted cocktails.
The name ‘Pera Maraya’ was conceived by the talented Chef José Sánchez. The name is inspired in his childhood memories of reaching towards the tree of Pera Maraya (also called Poma Rosa) and picking a fruit for his first time.

Chef José Sánchez
Chef Jose Sánchez considers himself a dishwasher that likes to cook. After several experiences cooking in and outside of Puerto Rico, he brings a vanguard and unequivocal culinary proposal to the table. Much like liquid matter, he simply lets his style be molded by his taste, emotions and the seasonal products.
His most recent experience was shared with Chef Hans Burtscher at the Grand Hotel in Makinac Island, Michigan. After which he has returned to Puerto Rico to tell his stories in every dish.
