Chef Ramón Cruz
Chef Ramón Alejandro Cruz Molina is Condado Ocean Club’s executive chef; he oversees the menus and food preparation of all the hotel’s outlets: SOCIAL, THE DECK, JADE, SANDBOX, and Banquet private events.
Chef Ramón’s career spans for almost a decade and has developed an expertise in areas such as the implementation of creative cooking methods, food costing, and staff supervision. Always on top of new trends in the industry, he updates his menu regularly adding new recipes and flavors to his plates. As part of his creative leadership style, he integrates his staff and patrons in the process of designing menus and values their feedback to improve his craft and ensure only the best arrives at the table.
His tenure at Condado Ocean Club actually began in 2018 as Sous Chef for the hotel’s popular outlets and banquets under Serafina Beach Hotel. His first experience as cook was with International Meal Company’s properties Casa Avila and Margaritaville.
Later, Cruz worked as cook under the supervision of renowned chef Juliana González at her signature restaurant ‘Caña’. Before arriving at Condado, from 2016 to 2018, he was the Sous Chef at Verdanza Hotel, overseeing various outlets with menus that ranged from tapas and burgers to international cuisine.
Chef Ramón holds a degree in Culinary Arts from the Instituto de Banca y Comercio.
His continued growth in his craft has made of SOCIAL Restaurant a favorite for locals and visitors who visit to enjoy great dining experiences for dinner and the famous Sunday Brunch.

La carrera de chef Ramón abarca casi una década y ha desarrollado experiencia en áreas como la implementación de métodos creativos de cocina, costos de alimentos y supervisión del personal. Siempre al tanto de las nuevas tendencias en la industria, actualiza su menú regularmente agregando nuevas recetas y sabores a sus platos. Como parte de su estilo de liderazgo creativo, integra a su personal y clientes en el proceso de diseño de menús y valora sus comentarios para mejorar su oficio y garantizar que solo llegue lo mejor a la mesa.
Su trabajo en Condado Ocean Club en comenzó en 2018 como Sous Chef para los populares puntos de venta y banquetes del hotel bajo Serafina Beach Hotel. Su primera experiencia como cocinero fue con las propiedades Casa Ávila y Margaritaville de International Meal Company.
