Restaurant Week comes to Puerto Rico – examiner.com

In a continuous effort to position Puerto Rico as the ultimate culinary destination of the Caribbean, Puerto Rico Restaurant Week comes to the Island from May 14 to 20, 2012.  Food lovers will have the opportunity to sample creative dishes by some of the best chefs on the Island in over 30 restaurants throughout the Metro Area, including some of the most lavish and exotic establishments.

Renowned chefs from restaurants in Condado, Guaynabo, Hato Rey, Isla Verde, Old San Juan and Santurce have joined this initiative and will be offering a set three-course menu for only $29 or $39 per person. Menu includes one appetizer, one entrée, and a dessert.

Enjoy the delicious Seafood Paella along with an appetizer and a dessert from Chef Maria Franco at Atlantica Puerta de Tierra; the Leg of Lamb roasted in Red Wine for 6 hours from Chef David Chaymol at Bistro de París; or the Veal Fricassee, Breaded Grouper, or Curried Vegetarian Orzo Risotto from renowned chef José Santaella at Santaella restaurant.
